3 Training Modes

• HIKE MODE

This Hike mode offers a great lower body workout while improving speed and stability. By setting a challenging 22% incline, you can engage in an intense uphill hike. To ensure safety, we have 10 built-in speed zones that prevent the user from sliding off the Trekker 4000. Much like a stair stepper, in this way the user only adjusts the speed and can safely focus on hiking up the 22% incline. This mode is perfect for burning calories and a proper leg workout.

• TREK MODE

The Trek mode offers a more intense lower body workout while improving your cardio endurance and stability. By setting a challenging 27% incline, you can engage in a steeper climb. To ensure safety, we have 10 adjustable speed zones that help prevent the user from sliding off the Trekker 4000. Much like a stair stepper, in this way the user only adjusts the speed and can safely focus on trekking up the 27% incline. This mode is perfect for burning calories, and a more challenging leg workout.

• SLED MODE

Take your Sled training up a notch, holding the fixed frame handles, and setting your incline difficulty levels to either 22% or 27% with the resistance level set at its heaviest. Pushing forward allows users to replicate an intense uphill sled push, while a backward sled walk uphill engages more lower body muscles. Our resistance generator not only controls the speed, but also allows the user to push against, thereby creating an intense uphill sled push workout.

FAQs

How is the resistance provided?
The Trekker 4000 has a patented generator heavy and consistent resistance. Resistance from a generator feels more consistent and heavier than what is achievable by magnets. With magnets, the user needs to have some speed or rotation of flywheel in order to produce resistance from the magnets, while slowing down will cause resistance from the magnets to decrease as well. However, with the Trekker 4000's patented generator, the resistance is consistent and heavy even at low speeds.
How is the resistance set?
The resistance is set by inputting a level from 0-9 for the resistance amount, which also controls the speed at which you will hike or trek on the Trekker. Heavier resistance means slower walking speed, whereas lighter resistance means faster walking speed since you will naturally move the belt on the Trekker 4000 with your weight and gravity

How can you change the speed readout from (kmph) to (mph) as a preference?

The console by default is set as KMPH as a readout display. Here's how to do change KMPH to MPH (Please follow these steps):

1. Switch on the console
2. Immediately hold the UP and DOWN arrow
3. Console will flash "1"
